While there is still work to be done, the UCP is making record investments in education with a growing budget of over $8.8 billion, which equals $44 million for every day kids are in school.
The UCP “gave away” $4.7 billion to Alberta businesses through tax cuts.
The NDP raised business taxes 20 per cent and brought in less and less business tax revenue as a result. This hurt Alberta’s bottom line. The UCP cut businesses taxes by 33 per cent and is seeing record business tax revenue of $6.4 billion this year alone. This revenue will help pay for important public services like health care.
The UCP wants to steal your pension.
The UCP will never affect Albertans’ pensions unless Albertans decide they want to make changes through a referendum.
People are leaving Alberta because of the UCP.
